Naadu continues to support safe and standardized blood collection practices through the implementation of the S-Monovette Blood Collection System, with training conducted across Laamu Atoll starting at Gan Regional Hospital (GRH).
At GRH, the program brings together Laboratory and Nursing teams, emphasizing coordinated practice, proper collection techniques, sample handling, and safety protocols. The sessions are led by Ms. Gladys Alvarez, Senior Sales Product Specialist from Sarstedt UAE Headquarters, ensuring a practical and engaging learning experience.
The initiative also extends to L. Fonadhoo, L. Hithadhoo, L. Maamendhoo, L. Isdhoo, L. Maabaidhoo, L. Dhanbidhoo, and L. Maavah Health Centres, promoting consistency and collaboration across facilities.
Strong participation from nursing and laboratory teams, along with support from Health Centre In-Charges, reflects a shared commitment to improving clinical practices. The on-site training approach allows healthcare professionals to confidently integrate the system into daily workflows.
